Stresscool.com was my recent project  on Ultracart again. I had integrated a product of Absolife.com, named as stresscool . It simple project again. The billing and shipping address were on a single page.  So its better to called it as a single page checkout project.

I had done its two different version for same checkout.  However it is my another successful projects in the basket.

Recently, I have been working on an ultracart project for a  client from Singapore. He has a custom requirement of creating mail server and use that email address to subscribe users and respond them back using ultracart autoresponder. Truly, this was my first experience of using autoresponder in ultracart. Before starting autoresponder task  of ultracart, my priority was to create mail server.

Really, I hadn’t any knowledge of mail server. So for that I had taken help of  my friend Bikash Shrestha, by profession a system administrator. He helped a lot to clear the confusions over the mail server issue. He taught me that there is no separate mail server related with any domain and recommended web hosting control panel use to create email accounts. I had done as per direction of him and created an email account .

After creating email account, I jumped back to ultracart admin control. I created an email list with the help of client and developed a web page copying auto generated codes from ultracart email list signup wizard. Once email list was ready, next task was to create auto responder. All these options are available on marketing section of  ultracart website’s left menu.

While on the starting phase of freelancer career, I was searching for something new to learn and different from others. At that time, I had bidden a job on freelancer.com ( previously getafreelancer.com), demanding javascript, HTML, and Ultracart. To be honest, at that time, I was totally unknown of what is Ultracart. However I got the assignment to integrate Ultracart on the website “tryherbafuel.com”. Ashan Deyoz was my first client who trusted and given me a chance to learn Ultracart. He really helped me through samples and examples. Somehow it took me to complete around two weeks. The task was simpler too as it didn’t needed upsell or downsell the stuff.

After the completion of the first project on Ultracart, I have collected a lot of things to learn in Ultracart . I improved those things gradually in future projects.

Ultracart as the name suggests , it should be a shopping cart system.  Yeah, your guess is right, but don’t take it lightly. Ultracart provides all features that you would generally get in other shopping cart systems. You will certainly ask, how it is different from others. One of uniqueness is  JavaScript API supported shopping cart system.
